Partenariat Hubert Curien (PHC) Nusantara 2021

Hubert Curien (PHC) Nusantara 2021 has been opened. This research funding program aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and technology between research centers in the two countries, focusing on the potential for new collaborations and the participation of young researchers and doctoral students.

This annual program is organized in collaboration with the French Ministry of European Union and Foreign Affairs (MEAE), the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), and related parties in Indonesia, namely the Ministry of Education and Culture. Research and Technology (KEMENRISTEK) and the Ministry of Education and Culture (KEMDIKBUD).

PHC Nusantara 2021 is open for joint research projects between Indonesia and France (except in the fields of Nuclear, Defense, and Military). Research projects must fall within the following 11 research areas:

after the COVID-19 pandemic (Technology that enables local self-sufficiency or resilience, Infection prevention and control, Sanitation technology, Govtech/open data management and Big Data, Crisis management after pandemic, Digital workplace, and Technology, organization and implementation of distance learning)
Food Technology
Energy, including new and renewable energy (thermal and nuclear power plants, geothermal, wave and ocean wave energy, bioenergy, biofuels, solar power, etc.)
Health and medicine
Marine science, maritime and oceanography
Transport technology: land, air, sea
Information and communication technology
Social Sciences and Humanities
Cutting-edge technology, such as nanotechnology
Environmental conservation: flora and fauna biodiversity, water, soil, climate change
Natural risk control and prevention and/or disaster management – ​​including early warning systems involving geological, seismic, volcanic, climatic, geomagnetic sciences.
